Mercedes-Benz 380 SLC was a coupe in the greater Mercedes-Benz Series 107 (C 107 E 38) line. It was available for two model years: 1980 and 1981. The car incorporated a V8 engine with a light-alloy block, one overhead camshaft per cylinder bank, and mechanically controlled Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. Paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, the engine could achieve 218 horsepower. Features included a double-wishbone front suspension, a semi-trailing arm axle rear suspension, power steering, front and rear disc brakes, and steel wheels. Hydropneumatic level control and light-alloy wheels were optional.
