Mercedes-Benz 250 S was a model in the Mercedes-Benz Series 108 (W 108 II) line, one that debuted in 1965 and was available until the Mercedes-Benz 280 S succeeded it in 1969. It replaced the outgoing Mercedes-Benz 220 Sb.
The car featured a 130-horsepower, in-line, six-cylinder engine, and it could be paired with either a four-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic. One distinguishing feature of the offering: its compensatory hydropneumatic spring at the rear axle.
