Mercedes-Benz Series 107 was a classic Mercedes-Benz Series comprised of five distinct models in two different "families."

One family was the 107 series of roadsters in the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class, sports cars that ran between 1971 and 1985. There were three models in this group. One, the Mercedes-Benz 350 SL, designated "R 107 E 35," was offered between 1971 and 1980. It incorporated a V8 engine mated to either a four-speed manual transmission or a three-speed automatic, and together, they produced 200 horsepower (from February 1976, 195 horsepower). The second, the Mercedes-Benz 380 SL, with the designation "R 107 E 38," ran between 1980 and 1985. It, too, had a V8, but one with a light-alloy block, paired only with a four-speed automatic transmission. They put out 218 horsepower (from October 1981, 204 horsepower). The third model was the Mercedes-Benz 450 SL, designated "R 107 E 45." It debuted in 1971 and was available until 1980. The car incorporated a V8 teamed with a three-speed automatic transmission, and it was capable of 225 horsepower (from November 1975, 217 horsepower).

The other family was the 107 series of cars in the Mercedes-Benz SLC-Class, coupes that were offered between the 1971 and 1981 model years. There were two models in this group. The first, the Mercedes-Benz 380 SLC, designated "C 107 E 38," debuted in 1980 and was offered until 1981. It had a V8 with a light-alloy block paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, one that was capable of 218 horsepower. The other, the Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC, had the designation "C 107 E 45" and was offered between 1972 and 1980. Its V8 engine output was 225 horsepower (from November 1975, 217 horsepower).
