"Mercedes-Benz 200 D" is a model nomenclature designating eight car variants offered between 1965 and 1993. One, a member of the greater Mercedes-Benz Series 110 (W 110 D II), debuted in 1965 and was available until 1968. A seven-seater version of this car released for 1967.
Another, a Mercedes-Benz 200 D Universal model, also part of the 110 series, came out in 1966 and was offered until its discontinuation in 1968. Two others -- a chassis-only model for building special-purpose car bodies and a long-wheelbase model -- ran from 1965 to 1968. Three others yet were members of the Mercedes-Benz Series 123 and Series 124; the former cars (designated W 123 D 20) debuted in 1976 and were on sale until 1985, while the latter (referred to as W 124 D 20) were offered from 1985 to 1993.
