450SE

Mercedes-Benz 450 SE was a luxury sedan in Mercedes-Benz Series 116 (W 116 E 45) and a member of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. It came in a "base" model and a special protection version; the former debuted in 1972 and ran until 1980, while the latter was offered until 1978. Both variants incorporated V8 engines mated to three-speed automatic transmissions. The achieved 225 horsepower until late 1975, when power output adjusted to 217 horsepower. Output was once again 225 horsepower from early 1978 forward.
