The wheelbase was also reduced by 85mm, a more stable and stiffer-roofed security cell, high-strength roof pillars, and reinforced doors were added, and the front and rear deformation zones were improved significantly. Other features ranged from rectangular wide-band headlights to chromed air inlet grilles in front of the windshield.
