The Mercedes-Benz 250 SE was part of Mercedes-Benz Series 111, a line of coupes and convertibles that ran from 1965 to 1967. Both body styles incorporated 2.5-liter, in-line, six-cylinder engines capable of 150 horsepower, mated to either four-speed manual or four-speed auto transmissions. Double-wishbone front suspensions and four-wheel disc brake systems came standard, and power steering was optional. The Mercedes-Benz 280 SE succeeded the lineup in 1968.
