Mercedes-Benz 220 SE was a line of cars in the greater Mercedes-Benz Series 128 (W128) line. One model was a sedan available in 1958 and 1959. The other two models were a coupe and cabriolet that ran from 1958 until 1960. They all carried the "Ponton Mercedes" nickname. The sedan incorporated a 115-horsepower, in-line, six-cylinder engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and a Hydrak automatic clutch was available. The coupe and convertible had the same options, except that, from late in the 1959 model year on, their engines could put out 120 horsepower.
