200D
Mercedes-Benz 200 D, nicknamed the "Fintail Mercedes," represented several models in the Mercedes-Benz Series 110 line. They all succeeded the Mercedes-Benz 190.
The main model ran from 1965 to 1968. It incorporated a four-cylinder diesel engine that put out 55 horsepower. The I4 was mated to a choice of either a four-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission.
Two chassis-only models were available from 1965 to 1968. One was for building special-purpose car bodies (like ambulances, station wagons, and hearses, for instance), and the other offered a longer 3100mm wheelbase. There was also a seven-seater model with a 3350mm wheelbase available in 1967, and a Universal model was offered from 1966 to 1968.
