190Db
Mercedes-Benz 190 Db was a part of the Mercedes-Benz Series 121 line, which was referred to as "Ponton Mercedes;" it was one the family of four-cylinder models that was available between 1959 and 1962. The model itself, however, was offered only until 1961.
It featured an in-line, four-cylinder diesel engine, paired with four-speed manual transmission, and the former was capable of 50 horsepower. Features ranged from a flatter hood and a wider and lower-placed radiator grill to slightly larger bumpers (sans guards) and taillights outfitted with reflectors. More distinctive ones included chrome window strips and the chrome-plated rain runnels. One could also get the car chassis-only (in two- and four-door partial body options), too, if building a custom model; they were offered during the same three-year span.
The model was replaced by a newly redesigned one after 1961 -- namely, the Mercedes-Benz 190 Dc.
